Adjutants and Quartermasters,

We’ve received some inquiries regarding the status of the alternative caps. Please inform your District and Post leaders that the VFW Store will commence taking online pre-sales starting Tuesday, December 2nd. We expect these orders to be fulfilled sometime between mid to end of month January. Embroidery of these caps will follow the instructions spelled out in MoP Section 803. Since there is limited space for only 18 characters, we will adhere strictly to the titles and abbreviations for only the titles available in the drop down. Starting Dec 2nd, caps will be available at this link https://www.vfwstore.org/ category/vfw/ uniformcapandnametags

Subject: Tank item stolen

Greetings,

I announced at the meeting last night that one of the driver periscope windows on our Sheridan tank has been stolen.

Any information about people on or in the tank recently would be a great help.  We have not determined when the item was taken.

I am attempting to review our security system history to see if there may be something there.

This is greatly disturbing to me that someone would do this.

Paul

Please find a digital copy of the Boonville Daily News Veteran's Pride for Cooper County. A few of our members are in the guide. I have a few printed and bound copies if folks want them for around $1.50 each (one dollar and fifty cents).  Let me know and I can bring them to the meeting. They are printed very nicely - like a magazine.

The Missouri Veterans Commission will be at the Truman VA in the Patient Education Center, Classroom D, on the last Monday of most months between the hours of 0800 and 1200.  I say "most Mondays” because there are certain months (like October) where we have Commission meetings on the last Monday of the month and thus are not able to be there.  At these clinics, veterans and their spouses can sit down with an attorney and draft a will, power of attorney for healthcare and/or finances, advanced directives and beneficiary deeds FREE of charge.  The best way for your members to ensure they are served at one of these clinics is for them to submit an online request for an appointment at mvc.dps.mo.gov/will-clinic- reservation, or by calling (573) 522-4224.
