Boone County VFW Post 280: A Call to Action and Appreciation Dear Comrades, Volunteers, and Community Supporters, Over the past few months, Boone County VFW Post 280 has been a hive of activity—honoring veterans, supporting families, coordinating events, and advocating for meaningful change. From legislative outreach to sponsor development and community service reporting, our Post has been working tirelessly to uphold the values we stand for. This momentum is inspiring—but it also highlights a growing need: we cannot do it alone. 📣 We Need a Web Assistant As our digital presence expands, so does the need for consistent updates, sponsor recognition, event calendars, and outreach tools. A dedicated Web Assistant would help us maintain our online platforms, streamline communications, and ensure our mission reaches every corner of Boone County and beyond. If you or someone you know has tech skills and a heart for service, we urge you to step forward. 🤝 The Power of Volunteering Every hour volunteered strengthens our Post. Whether it’s helping with events, assisting with communications, or simply being present when needed—your time matters. We understand that availability varies, but when members are able to lend a hand, it makes all the difference. Let’s continue to show up for each other and for the veterans we serve. 🌟 Gratitude for Our Auxiliary. The VFW Auxiliary has been a steadfast partner in our mission. Their consistent support—whether through fundraising, event coordination, or community outreach—has amplified our impact. We deeply value this relationship and are committed to growing it with mutual respect, collaboration, and shared purpose. 🤝 United with Other Veteran Organizations Our strength multiplies when we work together. Building healthy relationships with other veteran organizations allows us to share resources, amplify advocacy, and present a united front in service to those who’ve served. We are all working toward one common goal: honoring veterans, supporting their families, and strengthening our communities. Let this letter serve as both a celebration of our recent efforts and a call to action. Boone County VFW Post 280 is thriving—but with your help, we can do even more.
